Body Sculpting Treatment Preparation

Treatment Preparation:

• Please do not eat or drink anything other than water at least 2 hours before your appointment. 
• Please consume at least 2 Liters of water throughout the day, at least one hour prior to your appointment.  
• Consider taking a liver supplement (milk thistle or dandelion root) as your liver acts as the body's fat eliminator.
• Be prepared to do some form of cardio after your appointment, outside our office.
  

Post Treatment Instructions:

• Drink at least 4 Liters of water after your treatment, daily over the next few days.
• Please make sure to do both within 2-3 hours of your treatment: 
  • A 30–60 minute cardio workout that consists of a high intensity workout. 
• Diet- We recommend not to consume any food that is processed while staying away from all sugar (alcohol included) and starches (all carbohydrates other than vegetables) for at least 24-48 hours. 
• Consider your liver- please take a liver support supplement to ensure your liver is operating at optimal levels before and after undergoing this treatment.
• Eliminate alcohol during your treatment process as alcohol negatively affects the liver and will lessen your results!

Areas of Treatment

Ideal Light can be effectively and simultaneously used on virtually every part of the body where localized fat deposits exist that are resistant to diet and exercise. This includes the face, waist hips, upper legs, thighs and upper arms.

Who may consider this treatment?

We recommended each client be evaluated based on body type and lifestyle so that reasonable expectations may be set.

Who is not a good candidate for body sculpting treatments (Contraindications):

Anyone with the following conditions:

• Active cancer or undergoing chemotherapy 
• Pregnancy or Breastfeeding
• Liver conditions
• Kidney conditions, one kidney or undergoing dialysis
• HIV/AIDS
• Hepatitis C
• Heart conditions including a pacemaker
